Such kind, helpful and friendly sisters and staff running this delightful hotel and restaurant. When my Santiago Ways bag didn’t arrive and that company tried to rip me off saying it would cost me 60 euros to transfer from Portomarin, the kind owner arranged a 20 euro taxi to bring my bag. I was SO grateful. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. I have nothing but praise for this place!!
They serve people of different nationality differently. I was next in line but they would serve locals and Europeans first. The daughter of the owner specifically was very unpleasant and snobbish when receiving and giving our food. If you don’t want to welcome certain ethnicities, please remove the flags you put in your cafe/albuerge. Thank you very much.
An great Albergue on the way. Very nice dorm rooms. The eight bed room I was in were all singles (no bunks to climb in and out), sheets, heavy blanket, and power outlets. Great dining options in a wonderful location. At 700 meters altitude it’s nice and cool in the afternoon. Very friendly staff. Reservations are a must. Don’t miss it even for lunch.
I had a reservation placed by phone. Got it even confirmed via WhatsApp. On the day itself i informed them my estimated arrival time. When I got there, there was no bed. Fully booked. Strange. The lady behind the bar did ring to albergues and sent me to one in Airexe which was closed when I got there.
The rooms were very basic, but it is very clean you get all you need: a bed, a toilet and warm shower. The food and drinks were good and very reasonable prices. I'm giving 5 star for the service because the owners were very nice people and very helpful. The location was also along the way on the next route. This place is highly recommended!
