A unique albergue next to the historical church site. It was the best albergue on the Camino for me. Entirely simple ,clean and quiet. I especially liked that the showers and toilets were new, clean, and separated by gender. Back yard, there is a beautiful terrace overlooking the land. The sunset from there was breathtakingly beautiful. Pilgrims, Korean and Brazilian couples, shared a room together were very nice. It was blessing for us two to stay this albergue.
Very clean albergue with an interesting location— across from the crumbling courtyard of an ancient church. The showers especially were extremely clean and more functional than those of most albergues. There were washers and dryers priced a little high (3 euros) but also free inside drying racks which worked. The kitchen had a coffee vending machine and regular vending machine, as well as a refrigerator cold enough to almost be a freezer, which was nice.
Basic pilgrim hostel - clean and good pressure showers, decent kitchen, however very very thin mattresses
Only 8 beds because of renovations. There was 1 bathroom which made leaving in the morning take longer. Also, the toilet paper had run out by 5:30am and no extra rolls anywhere. Boot room/laundry smelled like mould. We made our dinner and cleaned up only to have the receptionist come in and tell us to clean up the kitchen. (Others had cooked lunch and left a pot full of rice and their plates on the sink). It was a cold evening so I asked if she had blankets. She said to come back just before I was going to sleep and ask again. So I did. Unfortunately they were tiny. This is not a very Pilgrim-friendly place to stay.
Excellent, clean albergue. Basic ammenities but nice rooms with comfy beds. Enjoyed the use of the kitchen. Great location and lively town to stay in on the Camino.
