A fabulous family weekend... Seventeen adults and four children stayed in this wonderful house in the beautiful village of Villasirga, our grandparents' village... and the experience was fantastic, the staff were incredibly kind, and everything was simply wonderful... Many thanks to Mariano, Luis, and all the staff... We hope to return very soon!
Good location, great service, and decent facilities. We were very comfortable, although not luxurious. A good base for visiting the area. The heating worked well, and we weren't cold. My only complaint would be the beds—the bed frames and mattresses were too basic for those with sensitive backs. I could sleep on a rock and was fine, but the people I was with did point out that this was an area for improvement.
The house is great; we spent a weekend there with family. It's true that the bed frames, mattresses, and pillows aren't the most comfortable, but the house itself is perfect for a weekend getaway. I did notice that the downstairs bathroom had cobwebs in the shower 🚿, which put me off a bit, but the owner was very friendly and allowed my small pet, which was much appreciated because not all places allow pets.
We went as a family and I was a little disappointed with the rooms since there were few double and twin rooms. We found one quadruple room and another with two single beds and bunk beds. The best thing about the house was the grounds outside. It's worth mentioning that there's a pilgrim hostel sharing one of the houses.
