Casa El Colibrí

One of the best hotels I stayed at on the Camino. From the moment you step in and meet Jeff you feel at home. Jeff is extremely friendly, organised and kind. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. The bed had a lively light but warm duvet. Geat location. Woke up to a great breakfast. I would highly reccomend staying there.

The most wonderful Casa Rural on the Camino Frances & in such a beautiful town. Jeff is so hospitable, accomodating & friendly, & has turned his home into a retreat for pilgrims, renovating this year with spotlessly clean rooms, super comfy beds, big windows with lots of light, balconies & sitting areas inside & out. He provides a delicious breakfast of granola, yoghurt, fruit, OJ & cafe con leche. He also is an amazing cook if you’re lucky enough to be staying when he cooks a group dinner - it will be the best meal you would have had on the camino.

This place is amazing! The entire home is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The host is extremely welcoming and friendly. If there is a house meal that night, make sure to say yes! This was the best stay I had on my Camino, and I can’t wait to come back next year.

After a long walk, I arrived in Villa Franca and, while looking for a pilgrim hostel, I stumbled upon this charming little rural house. Right in front of the property, I met the owner, who welcomed me with great kindness. The place is lovely—clean, well-kept, and perfect for restoring both body and mind. Jeff (I hope I got the name right) was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel at ease right away. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place along the Camino.

Excellent accommodation with very kind host. Great place to stay after a long and rainy camino's day. We had a beautiful bedroom for two and a great bathroom. Everything clean and tastefully decorated in an original Spanish way. Our tasty granola breakfast was included.
