Even though rooms nice and clean, water was lukewarm. When we brought it to their attention they argued with us and refused to compromise. They yelled and screamed at us and asked us to leave. We paid full asking price for the room and opted to stay because the weather was bad and we had not organised for somewhere else to stay. It certainly soured what a had been a good day.

It's a very welcoming place. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warmth, as if they'd known us forever. It's clean and centrally located, perfect for exploring this beautiful place called Villafranca del Bierzo.
The service was absolutely superb and friendly. The rooms are very spacious, spotless, beautiful, and quiet. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is simple yet very clean. The bar is fantastic. It has everything you could want at very reasonable prices. It's a wonderful place to return to. Plus, they always greet travelers with a smile, a gesture not everyone who works in hotels or hostels extends to those just passing through. It's a highly recommended place.
