I walked the Camino de Santiago in September 2025 . I stayed in San Anton Abad for one night which included breakfast . The hotel had a lovely medieval style and the room was quite spacious and was nicely decorated There was a long queue to check in however that was a minor point overall The foyer , restaurent and bar were quite enjoyable areas of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very extensive with a great selection of meats , breads etc.. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and i would recommend any peregrinos to consider staying here on their Camino. For information purposes , my Camino travel partners were @Magichillholidays located in Ireland.

After a long day on the Camino, we were very pleased to have a large room, decent heating, a great bar and excellent service. The team worked so hard to look after us at meal times and the meals were tasty and quickly prepared. Special mention to Richmond who was like a whirlwind and smiling all the time.

Our favourite stop on the Camino Santiago route. The location was beautiful and interesting because it is attached to the monastery and has many historical features. But the room felt modern with a beautiful view of the monastery and hills. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. We ate in the bar area and they couldn’t do enough for us. The area was lovely and quiet and we had a good night sleep.

I stayed at the adjoining Alburgue and it was incredible. I arrived early and was in the dormitory with all single beds, separated by a small wall near a large window. The guys that walked me in was incredibly kind. The showers were nice and hot, basic kitchen, laundry. There's a grocery store nearby, plus a couple of restaurants in town (and one at the hotel/Alburgue). Highly recommend! Perfect before the big climb.

Beautiful grounds, historic building, warm and welcoming staff whether you’re a hotel guest or a pilgrim staying in the albergue. Formerly a pilgrim hospital this stately accommodation has a pleasant feel and extraordinary view to the rolling hills around. The pilgrim dinner was a scrumptious three course with wine. Service was excellent, portions were generous. I feel grateful to have secured a spot here for a night.
