We paid extra for a triple private room which was 70 euro. Upon entering the room and sitting on the bed, my bed immediately broke. I looked under the bed to see that a tree stump was holding it up. When I told the woman working about the broken bed, it took them over an hour to replace the bed. We politely asked them if they would be willing to give a discount on the room, and they repeatedly said no. We then asked for our money back for the dinner because we didn’t want to give them more of our money. She was very resistant at first but eventually called a manager, and she gave us our money back for the meal begrudgingly. It felt like they were more concerned about the money than giving a positive experience to pilgrims who just want to rest upon arriving. It’s a shame that the management can’t encourage their staff to be more accommodating and hospitable to their guests. Very disappointing.

I would like to have given one star less for it's lack of blinds to my room window that meant I had to enjoy the street light all night...but I can't. The place is very good. Clean etc. The food was great...both evening meal and breakfast was best yet in a Spanish hostel

Even though there was a language barrier between the host and I, I had traveled along the Camino in Spain for over a month and had no troubles like this one. After my family and I had walked over 5 hours in the hot sun, one of the beds broke as soon as my sister sat down in it. It was for a private room we paid extra for. It took the host over an hour to come and fix the bed, when there were maybe less than a half dozen other pilgrims already settled in and did nothing to better accommodate us or give us some sort of compensation on the price of the room. They cared more about getting their money then servicing their guest. Go to the albergue with the dogs… seriously!

The showers were clean and hot! The beds are cozy and the hosts were really really kind and they cooked the dinner themselves! Also they have a really beautiful garden and I really could relax for sure!!

Great location, clean, and wonderful people running the place. Fantastic vegetarian paella and pilgrims dinner. Only downside is there are few power sockets for recharging in the main bunkhouse. But we adapt!
