Really wonderful place for a Camino stop. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and overall the ambiance a delight. The proprietor made us dinner which was delicious and accommodated my request for an early breakfast so I could leave early. Overall a delightful surprise in a quiet country town
A wonderful B&B; our best stay yet along the Camino! Indigo is a gracious host. We asked if a vegetarian dinner was possible and he responded with fantastic soup, a mushroom and gouda bake, an egg and rice dish and several desserts. The rooms, common areas and open courtyard layout (with meditation room!) are nicely decorated and are very relaxing. The bedroom was nice and cool, with bedding that was comfortable and warm. Definitely recommended!!!
Our October 4th stay at Bed and Breakfast La Santa was absolute perfection! After a warm day of walking the Camino de Santiago, it was so refreshing to arrive at this beautiful oasis in the lovely village of Villar de Mazarife. Our hosts were incredible and made us feel so comfortable and at home. Upon our arrival, Ingrid put together a tray with ice cold drinks and snacks - such a kindness for us two weary travelers. She and her husband have designed a peaceful retreat with touches of nature and antique pieces, creating spaces (including a chapel and beautiful courtyard) that invite you to relax. We absolutely cherished our stay at La Santa and hope to come back one day.
Stunningly beautiful boutique hotel, extremely comfortable attention to detail second to none. Indigo made myself and my sister feel very welcome delicious breakfast too. I left my sun hat and indigo has gone out of his way to send onto me. I would highly recommend booking this hotel a real treat at the end of a Camino day.
Lovely, homely place. The hosts are super welcoming and take good care of you during the stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. The perfect stop after a long day of walking the Camino. I would recommend this to anyone who is making a stop in Villar de Mazarife!
