Best sleep we had on the Camino ! Comfy bed , comfy blankets. Nice towels. Very cute Spanish house that the owner restored. It’s 1000 percent worth stopping short of Estrella and staying here ! Owner helped us w local recommendations. Local eateries were yummy. Stocked up w snacks at super market all very close to the. Camino. Don’t miss this hostel !
Host was wonderful. Location was perfect. One block off the Camino. Water was hot, towels were large. Bedding was very comfortable. Quiet Town which was a nice break. Great place to dry your clothes. She had clips to dry them.
We had a beautiful stay at Etxeurdina, the house has a lovely feel and the beds are very comfy. Jordi helped us with recommendations on where to eat and also explained the next stops on the Camino which helped greatly for the day ahead.
My wife and I LOVED staying here. Miren, the lovely and caring owner truly seeks to serve her guests. Down to the included breakfast she is very caring and wanted to be sure we were comfortable. Though I am sure she had much to do as she is also an artisan creating fine hand made furniture, she always had time to answer questions and care for us. To be honest we didn't want to leave. We had a private bedroom which was nice but each room had a calming, quiet character. Please consider staying here. It is lovely. :o)
Amazing place with amazing people! The alberque is beautiful refurbished with high attention to details and to preservation of the old house. We stayed at bunk beds but we had a look at the private rooms. Each private rooms has it's own style with view over the river. The bunk beds area is well organized with plenty of room between beds with private lockers where you can store your clothes or personal items and each bed has a reading lamp, which was a nice touch. The mattresses are really comfortable and the ambiental temperature was perfect for a good recharging sleep. The bathrooms are spotless clean and the showers cabins big enough with separate area within the cabin where you can bring and store your stuff. The kitchen is cosy and well equipped with plenty of pots and equipment in order to cook for one or even for more. High speed internet and signal everywhere in the house. Now, about the hosts they are two amazing and beautiful people. Regardless you want to talk wood sculptures, refurbishing furniture, scuba diving, cycling, skiing you are in best place.
