To stay in Maria's place we have been learning one thing. Don't stop if you still have power to continue walking! Next village about 3-4 km, have better Alberque. It's was our mistake. Maria is very sympathetic host. We guess she can make her place better, at least cleaner. Big minuses - not doors/walls in the bathrooms/toilet's. If someone doing their business, everyone in the room/bed can hear it and smell it. Was very cold! We did slept in all our clothes, including hats in our sleeping bags. Maria give us blankets, it's was little helpful.
A couple of days ago, we made a reservation through the Camino Ninja app using a WhatsApp number. Maria, the owner of the accommodation, was very kind and responded warmly, confirming our reservation. When we arrived, she welcomed us with a beautiful smile and kindly explained everything about the bedroom, shower, and laundry facilities. After we did our handwashing, she let us use the drying rack, and since the weather wasn’t great, she even turned on the heater next to the restaurant on the first floor so we could dry our clothes nearby. We were deeply touched by her thoughtfulness. We had dinner there — salad and paella — and it was prepared with such care. It was absolutely delicious. Just seeing my dad finish his whole plate is proof of how good it was! We were truly moved by Maria’s kindness, warmth, and sincerity. We highly recommend this place. And thank you so much, Maria

Maria is running this albergue in style. Neat, clean, welcoming and very cosy. Loving the aesthetic and the pilgrimage dinner was such a treat with a mean Paella. 😍🤤 Best albergue on the Camino so far.
From the moment we arrived Mariaje was welcoming and kind. Her hospitality, thoughtfulness and warmth were above and. beyond- she has thought of everything! She welcomed us and we genuinely felt at home. My mother and I wish we could have stayed longer. thank you Mariaje- we hope to meet you again!
