Albergue Parroquial de Zabaldika (Hermanas Sagrado Corazón)

An exceptional stay, especially when it comes to those voluntary hosts. This is a place where you really are welcome as a pilgrim. What happens there is really out of the expected. Visiting the church had been something exceptional. 🙏🏼

Truly a wonderful experiencing stopping in to this Albergue . We did not stay but the hosts welcomed us to take a rest , offered us refreshments and a place to stay if we needed to rest . The energy here is profound and our group decided to meet here for our next Camino .

Staying at the Parochial Albergue in Zabaldika was a truly special experience. The hospitaleros were amazingly friendly and made us feel immediately at home. The facilities were more than sufficient and very well maintained. What made the stay unforgettable was the intimate mass held in the church. An incredibly moving and personal moment for all pilgrims. The sisters of the church were phenomenal. Wise, dedicated women who radiated warmth and kindness, and who spoke several languages to connect with everyone. Their presence and service made this albergue feel deeply spiritual and welcoming. Most importantly the community of pilgrims there were amazing people.

I never gave a review. I stayed here September 2017. It was a special place on my Camino journey. The hosts were more than welcoming and the church was beautiful. In the evening after the lovely meal, we went into the church where we talked about our own reasons for walking the Camino. It was the highlight of my Camino journey and all the pilgrims who were there on the same night. Thank you🙏

Beuatiful place clean and cozy place with immensely kind and pleasant nuns, modern and ancient in the same time. Very warm welcome, we got really taken care of, and this is my best albergue so far, loved it! Donation based, about 18 beds, dinner and brakfast provided, 2 spacious bathrooms and very clean.
