Albergue-Pensión ZALDIKO - Zubiri, Navarra - España

We stayed in the pension, which is an apartment with 4 double rooms, 2 shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen with washer. The rooms and whole apartment were very clean, homey and in excellent repair. The location is good, close to the Camino and near a small grocery store and a number of bars and cafes. The owner was very welcoming and walked us to the apartment and showed us everything to be sure we had a great stay. There is a lift to bring luggage up to the apartment on the 1st floor.

Very good experience when we both stayed here in a private room on 2May. Good receptionist service. Clean room with balcony. Good common kitchen facility with shared washing machine, and refreshment heater. Our best acvomodation todate in our recent entire French Camino trip.

Kind, helpful owner and nice showers with soap provided. Unfortunately had an unlucky stay as an organized Camino group tour from same country staying in my same room and someone there was ill because he passed the bug on. Illness etiquette of covering coughs and sneezes and masking cld be better enforced to make for a better Camino experience

I’m taking the time to write this review simply because Maria was soooo nice, sooo helpful. She was great, made the place great. I recommend.

Very clean and convenient albergue option for pilgrims who are planning on leaving early and might not want a dinner and breakfast option, which Zaldiko does not have. Despite the small size and relative fullness of the albergue, I was surprised by the cleanliness of the bathrooms and sink area. They were cleaning it throughout the day. The rooms are small but well ventilated by the large exterior window-doors through which laundry can also be dried. They are located next to a playground which was active until 10:00pm, but if you are a pilgrim you probably have earplugs.
