This restaurant was a huge disappointment. I had the house menú. The ternera was razor thin and flavorless. The fries were cold and soggy. My partner had grilled fish and somehow, they managed to deliver it cold and raw in the middle. It appeared they placed on the grill frozen. The service felt rushed and once the food was delivered the waiter disappeared never to be seen again. Not worth your time or money.

AVOID! DISHONEST, RUDE, FOOD ONLY OKAY BECAUSE WE WERE HUNGRY AND THEY WERE THE ONLY PLACE OPEN! Staff very rude, when we entered they did not acknowledge us. After a few minutes we sat at a table. 10 minutes later they still had not acknowledged us, one guy acted like he might come to our table but then went behind the bar and joked with the other staff. He put headphones on and went outside. My daughter (who does speak Spanish) went up to the bar to ask for a menu and the bartender told her to sit down. Several min later a serve came over and put a menu down (in a hard plastic display that sat upright-this is important detail for later). Our first language is English & we were hiking the Camino, suspect this played a roll in our poor treatment. Although they would not be working if hikers from all over the world didn’t go there. The food was nothing special, salad was okay. The main dish- I got served the wrong thing but I think I got lucky with this, as when the server brought out the pork I had ordered it looked scary. I got about 8 French fries with the meal (hot on the outside cold in the middle- that’s talent). We chose the “ice cream” for desert which was a nestle ice cream cone like you would buy in the store (this was good for entertainment). We were polite the entire time hoping they wouldn’t spit in our food. Another one of the waitress was picking at something in her teeth behind the counter, this is obviously disgusting and not sanitary. She never washed her hands and promptly at 1800 she left (thank goodness she did not serve us). THEN WHEN I ASKED FOR MY CHECK THE WAITRESS CHARGED US 22euros per meal, but the hard plastic menu said 15euros, when I told the waitress the price said 15euros she went over and grabbed a paper menu to show me, I told here we ordered off the other menu. She got mad change the price to 15euros each. She tried to OVERCHARGE us by 14euros! Note everyone else in the restaurant ordered off the hard plastic menu and may have been taken advantage of!

Very unfriendly staff. They scowl as they serve terrible food. My vegetable ‘soup’ was a bowl of OLD vegetables that were cooked for what looked like no less than 1 year. The veggies were soft and disgusting!! The waiters do not care. They shrug and take forever to bring water and drinks. The food looks and tastes nothing like the pictures. Avoid at all costs.

We were not too hungry for dinner so I had a whole pot of excellent fish soup, and my wife had a salad and later on a flan just like the way she use to make; with slightly bitter caramel. The wine was good. The waitress was a real professional.
