There are two hotels called Baltico, one is a 3-star and the other is a 2-star, they are located side by side on a corner of the harbour in a busy pedestrianised street and are under the same management. Both hotels share the same restaurant, which does not accept bookings and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.The 2-star hotel punches well above its weight and has several rooms with great views of the harbour but note not all rooms have a view. Its rooms have also been refurbished to a high standard (as of August 2022 when we stayed there). The service is good, the staff competent and friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced. The location is awkward to reach by car and there is no hotel car park, though there is limited parking available in a municipal car park nearby (though not available during second week in August because of local celebrations). I would thoroughly recommend the 2-star Baltico hotel and restaurant and the village of Luarco as a holiday destination.
Arrived 2 hours before checking in time, had room free so checked in, great service. Good location, nice bedroom.
It is bike friendly and personnel very friendly . Highly recommendable
