3 / 5 We booked a room with a private bathroom, which had a shower. The room had a double bed, was spacious and clean, and included a TV and blankets. It's located about 10 minutes from the town center. By the way, you have to check in online since there's no reception, and they send you the keys to pick up the key.
The bathroom was very outdated and several things were in poor condition. Apart from that, everything was fine.
1 / 5 A terrible experience. There was no heating, supposedly it was broken... We had to shower with cold water because there was no hot water either. The beds barely had any bedding, just sheets and a small quilt (without any filling). There were some blankets in the wardrobe, but they smelled awful and nobody wanted to use them. Of all the hostels I've stayed in, this was the least comfortable.
3 / 5 The hostess was very attentive to us upon arrival. I stayed in a single room with a private bathroom. Although the cleanliness was excellent, the room was very small. We had to move both beds to open our suitcase. The furniture was very old and needed a coat of paint. The stairs, after coming home tired from walking the path, weren't helpful either. The location isn't great either; it's a bit far from the center, and there's no streetlights at night. When you arrive home from dinner at night, you have to rely on your phone's flashlight.
1 / 5 It was awful. We had booked a double room with a private bathroom over a month in advance.
We're walking the Camino, and I called the day before, explaining who I was and that we were sending one of our backpacks. The owner said everything was fine.
When we arrived in Arzúa, we didn't have the reservation. The backpack was at reception, but no one seemed surprised. He either didn't write down the reservation when we called or gave it to someone else. That's still being sorted out...
When we called, a staff member named Chelo was lovely. She came to the hotel and had already found us accommodation; she even drove us there herself.
The owner even laughed at us and the whole situation on the phone. His solution was to put us in a hostel room, which was the same price, but he was selling it for a much higher price. His treatment of us was appalling.
1 / 5 Following the Camino de Santiago, we stopped at this accommodation, which was highly recommended. It's located off the Camino, quite far away and on steep slopes, with no restaurants or shops nearby. The room was quite outdated, the bathroom very cramped and lacked a hairdryer and a fan. To top it all off, the window doesn't roll down, letting in a lot of light. In conclusion, not recommended for pilgrims.
