The place overall is quite decent and clean. €17 for a bunk bed, no problem getting Wi-Fi. Good points: The beds are not too close to each other, so there’s enough space and you don’t feel cramped. There are also several windows, which allows for good ventilation. A small power outlet next to the bed makes it very convenient to charge your phone, which is extremely practical when walking the Camino. No issues with getting hot water in the shower, which is also greatly appreciated after a long walk. The location is really good—right next to the trail and not far from supermarkets. A few books are available on a shelf in the kitchen/lounge area. Bad points: No shower towel is provided, so you have to use your own. The induction cooktops don’t work, so it’s not really possible to cook anything substantial. The lockers are too small; you can’t really fit a fully loaded backpack inside. The disposable bed cover provided doesn’t fit the mattress well and ends up coming off during the night. Overall, even though there are a couple of details that could be improved, I’d say it’s a very decent option that I can recommend—especially for those walking the Camino.
This was an amazing find! A really well run, clean, welcoming and oh so cute with great showers and even hairdryers. Lock up cupboards, own light, shelf and power point. What more could you ask for. Absolutely delightful, a little bit of pilgrim luxury in a biggish town. 5/5 for everything!
An absolutely fantastic albergue right in the centre of Arzua. Small with 22 beds, a fantastic kitchen and lounge area. The fireplace was a great bonus! Everything was super clean, the bed was comfortable. There are radiators in the room which was great. Honestly, there are only positives! I arrived early April for 1 night and I was surprised that I was the only pilgrim staying in the albergue. The host was super kind and friendly too. 5 stars!
David is an amazing “hospitalero”, he makes you feel at home. The albergue is well equipped, great location, central heating is on and they provide a very, very hot water if you need a shower after a long day. Not at all like most of the other places where they treat you like a number..to be nice
Arrived here early and able to check in early as well. Shower, bed, places are clean and big. Can cook. Vending machine for some snacks. The old lady here who attended to me was a nice and friendly and helpful. She can't speak English but use Google translator to communicate. Awesome place to stay for 1 night or 2. I'll recommend you to stay. Near Supermarkets, plenty restaurants choices as well.
