APARTAMENTO MARSAN

I was blatantly deceived with this stay. The listed property doesn't actually exist—there's nothing at the address listed in the reservation. The owner sent a different address, and the apartment turned out to be completely different. The room wasn't even pictured and looked much worse. I wouldn't have chosen it if I'd known about it in advance. It was terribly cold inside. It was +5°C outside, and there was absolutely no heating in the room—no radiator, no heater. There was a fan, which felt like a travesty. I paid full price and slept in a sleeping bag, shivering. My hands were freezing even while getting ready in the morning. The kitchen wasn't like the picture. There was no kettle, so I had to heat water in a saucepan with one handle. The cup I wanted to pour tea into turned out to be full of holes—and that was it. There was no soap at all. And when I took a shower, worms crawled all over the bathtub. The phone was in another room, so I didn't have time to take a photo, but it looked disgusting. There was technically internet, but the owner wouldn't provide the password. I messaged him through both Booking and WhatsApp, but he never responded. So, I was left without service. There were two toilets, but neither was labeled. It was unclear which was for men and which for women, although the differences were obvious. And the worst part: the description stated that pilgrims receive a stamp, but there wasn't one on site. The owner also didn't say where I could get one. I had to go out at night, in the cold, to find another place where they could get a stamp. After all this, I intend to request a refund, as the accommodation didn't match the description and photos. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing and misleading places I've ever stayed in. Cold, no service, chaos, and indifference to people. Pretty good. We enjoyed our stay, although we were worried about what we'd read about bedbugs. We spoke to the owner, who told us he'd been on time. We didn't see anything. Everything was clean, despite the shared bathrooms and kitchen. The mattresses were comfortable. One thing they could improve would be to provide bathmats in each room.

The bed in room 3 had bed bugs that bit me all over my arms, waist, legs, and even my face. It was very itchy and bothered me. I will never book here again.

We booked this accommodation for our stay in Arzúa while we were on the Camino, and everything was perfect. Communication was great with the host; we rented the entire property, and it was perfect for our rest. Thank you for the accommodation on our Camino.

It's not easy to find, and the room number they gave in the email doesn't even exist. Avoid the place at all costs!
