Very clean and comfortable rooms owned by the restaurant across the street (looks like they split floors with the Albergue). Great location - if you’re hiking the Camino it puts on the west side of the town so it’s quick to get out the next day. There is a breakfast spot on the other side of the street that opened early. Highly recommend.
This is the rudest, most disrespectful restaurant I have ever been in my life. We payed 40€ for a soup and braised beef and some rough wine. And I have been a Chef my whole life. The worst part is as the owner was so rude, that once she got our money, she kicked us out even though we had not finished eating and drinking before 21:30h. Not a pleasant experience at all. And I have lived in Spain for over 7 years and travelled around the world eating and meeting good people that work in restaurants. This was the worst restaurant I have ever experienced. Muy mala gente! To the point of actually being nasty. What for…a soup, braised beef and some rough wine and she then booted us out the door. Very bad. Not nice people at all! Good food, delicious. However, Menu price was 20€ which seemed too high. Cash only. We didn’t ask price before eating. If you choose this restaurant establish the cost before, maybe for you it will be lower.
We walked in for the meal not expecting to be served home style almost as if it’s your grandmothers house! Solid food great people. Great price!
One of the most memorable, authentic restaurants I found on the entire Camino. Food is wonderful, the tables chairs and dishes, and hidden from the street. I'd love to go back.
