A truly lovely place — a large and beautiful country house with wonderful hosts and a great dinner... a perfect spot. The place is about a kilometer and a half from the town, but it doesn’t really matter — the town itself isn’t particularly pretty, and the place itself is absolutely charming.

I don’t usually leave reviews, despite traveling quite often—but Casa Rural Fogar de Lecer genuinely deserves the exception. I was deeply impressed by the experience and want to highlight just a few of the reasons why this place stands out: •Impeccable Cleanliness: Every corner of the house and the room was spotless. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, and it creates a peaceful, healthy environment. •Charming Beauty: The house is a beautiful blend of rustic charm and tasteful decor. From the architecture to the smallest design touches, everything contributes to an atmosphere of warmth and authenticity. • Perfect Location: Nestled in a tranquil setting along the Camino, it’s the ideal stop for rest and renewal. Whether you’re a pilgrim or a traveler, the location offers the perfect balance of peace and accessibility. •Thoughtful Details: What struck me most were the countless small details—both in the shared spaces and in the room itself. Every element is carefully considered to enhance your comfort and experience. •Exceptional Personal Attention: The hosts don’t just run a guesthouse—they welcome you into their home. Their kindness, care, and genuine hospitality make you feel seen, heard, and truly at ease. If I ever had to live in a hotel long-term, I would honestly choose Fogar de Lecer. It’s that good. More than just a stay, it’s a place where you feel at home—and that’s rare.

This property was in a beautiful setting and it was nicely decorated. However, the rooms aren’t quiet, we did not like the dinner (which was expensive), the staff was friendly but not as helpful as we would have liked, breakfast was not provided or possible even though promise. Overall, we were disappointed.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind. We felt very welcome and at home. We came with my dog who was allowed to enjoy the garden and it didn’t feel like she was a problem. The food was amazing! If only I had a bigger belly to eat everything on the menu ☺️ The interior decor is really well done and the whole place just feels very well thought out. I decided to stay and extra night it was so nice! Gracias 🙏🏽

We have had such a wonderful surprise as we booked not knowing what a treat we had in store for us. The service was so charming, the decor and comfort was top class, and the delicious dinner was next level. Compliments to the chef on the amazing cheesecake. Thank you from two grateful peregrinos!
