The hotel is right on the Camino, which is wonderful. They had a nice lobby area and good working elevators. My room was on the second floor on the street, which was quite loud but later on at night it did quiet down, thank goodness. I would suggest asking for a room facing away from the street, which is lovely rolling Hills. There is a small restaurant adjacent to the front of the hotel and there was loud people there until about 10 PM. The breakfast was adequate and they had plenty of room to sit and two areas with food so that people could access it easily. The room was quite comfortable, newer, and the bathroom was very spacious with a nice blow dryer! For Camino Travelers this was a perfect stop.
Nice, clean and convenient hotel from the Camino. Room was well appointed and while our room faced the street, it was pretty quiet. You can't go wrong with Hotel Arzua.
Overall the accommodation and location was good, as well as friendly staff. The breakfast was challenging. Many people trying to eat at the same time, which overwhelmed the kitchen, meaning items were running out as soon as they were placed on the buffet.
Very nice place to stay. We booked two rooms, both on different floors, and both were spotless. Spacious showers, good closet space, friendly and helpful staff, and the self-serve breakfast had a good selection of the region's fare.
One of the first hotels you see when you walk into town, which is nice if you walked 29k that day. Comfortable and spacious rooms, but not at all soundproof. A large group arrived at the reception downstairs and it sounded like a party. The neighbour next door needed to move his wooden chair around at 3 AM, 4 AM, and 6 AM for reasons unknown. I like that shampoo was provided vs the usual soap doubling as shampoo. The shower gets very hot, which is nice for sore muscles. You can't control the room temperature so I was cold at night. There was no one at the reception in the morning. It wasn't clear where to leave the luggage nor the room keys (there was no box). I like that the breakfast buffet offered fried eggs.
