5 / 5 Not a 5-star hotel but 5 stars for what it is. Simple motel but new, modern decor, very clean. Proprietor Luis is very attentive, friendly, and service oriented. Excellent inexpensive place for a bed and a bathroom stopover. Town is active with Camino de Santiago pilgrims. Lots of restaurants in town.
2 / 5 Basic accommodation. 70 Euros per room. It’s clean, but there is only hot water in the shower. Really hot water and you can’t mix it with cold water, so it burns on your skin. We also had a room facing the road, that is quite busy. There is a factory opposite the Hotel, so there are many trucks day and night, so it can be quite loud. The last minus is the traffic light from the road. There are window blinds you can use, cause otherwise it’s just to bright at night.
The man running the business means well, but is a little bit harsh.
There is no food or drinks. You have to go to the hotel nearby.
Overall you pay 35 Euros per person and night in a double room and I think that’s fair although you can find better accommodation for almost the same price.
5 / 5 Luis and his team were great! Nothing was a problem. His English isn’t too great but neither is our Spanish and we got by with Google Translate and fellow peregrinos! He even offered to drive us into the town centre for dinner after earlier getting ourselves caught in a downpour! What a host!
5 / 5 We received the warmest welcome from the moment we entered the vicinity. Everyone here works above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The room was pristine clean, the owner was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was yummy. Thank you so much, Señor Luis, Lourdes, and the morning staff!
PS: Their laundry area is facing a beautiful vista, so be sure to check out the backyard.
5 / 5 Room is very clean, owner is very kind, receptionist is super helpful! Good place to do laundry and hang outside to dry quickly. Thank you for your hospitality!
