The property was ok. However I am not sure if the bloke is scamming people or if it’s is booking.com. When we arrived after 6 hours walking in the rain, he said that he had no booking for us even though Booking.com had confirmed we had accommodations and took the money from our account. The bloke at how property said he had accommodation which we had paid again and said that the issue was with booing.com. Either way booking.com is a total scam or the bloke is ripping people off on the Camino. Absolutely furious! Still waiting for a refund? Avoid at all cost DO NOT BOOK especially with BOOKING.COM how refuse to refund. Total SCAM!
Horrible!!!!!! So disappointed!!!! Freezing cold rooms, no extra blankets; the shades do not go down on the windows. You are allowed one hand and one bath towel. Shower leaks, so I had to use one of my towels to clean up. And, this is a private room. There are two of us in different rooms having the same experience. Manager is a smoker, so hall and rooms smell like smoke. There are “no smoking” everywhere. He also does not like to be bothered; we were having trouble with our keys getting in. Ready to (hopefully) sleep and move on. Buen Camino!!!
We had a lovely sincere welcome from our delightful host/owner David. Pensión Arcano was a beautiful city building and our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very restful night here
Miguel, our host, is an ANGEL!!!! Enough said. Highly recommend!!!
