We stayed at this hotel during our Camino de Santiago, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place after walking 30 km. The welcome and the room were outstanding, and the service was incredible — we were extremely happy with our stay. We left very satisfied and especially impressed with the amazing breakfast that was included. We 100% recommend this hotel — truly first class! Our only suggestion would be to include fresh orange juice, which would make it absolutely perfect.
How is this rated a 2-star only? This is probably one of the best hotels in our Camino. Quaint, clean, polite staff and the owners are so nice. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but that's a great amenity to have. The lunch included in our booking was at 1930 Boutique Hotel which was also owned and run by the same owners. It was the best meal we had on the Camino - five-star dining experience that you will thank yourself for later. The room was clean, well appointed, comfy bed, clean sheets. The motion-activated lights in the bathroom is a novelty. Make sure you make small movements every minute or so if you don't want the panic of being in pitch black darkness after a while!
This place is stunning and I don’t mean just the decor, but the amazing quality of service. Ramon checked me in and he was incredible with a nice friendly smile. He even helped me carry my backpack to the room, which he didn’t have to, but it was so appreciated after a long day walk. Rosana also was absolutely amazing and gave me so much useful information and always made sure she’s available anytime I need anything. Communication with her made everything an easy and effortless process. It’s off season so the breakfast is “picnic style” and this morning I saw they left me a goodie bag with so much delicious food to go, which I’m incredibly grateful for. Absolutely amazing service. Everything in this place is beyond expectations and it’s very clean and comfortable. If you are stopping in Arzúa - this place is a must stop for at least a night. I wish I had more time to stay here. Thank you for everything.
Rooms super thin walled so hear everything from next room. Service ignores request that rooms are freezing and location not great. Not a good experience
Warm and dry with towel heaters! Got our gear mostly dry after a huge rain day. Really great decor in the Cambridge room. Awesome breakfast at their Cafe a few blocks away. Nice gluten free muffin and biscuits.
