I was having a shower and then suddenly the water became scorching hot and burned me. I screamed and jumped out of the bath tub, but I burned my back and was in a lot of pain. No one else was in my room, no one turned on a cold tap or flushed the chain. It just happened as I stood under the shower. This shows bad plumbing and a lack of heat control. If an elderly person or a child had been in the shower, the outcome could have been even worse. This demonstrates that the hotel is in need of updating - it is tired, and with out of date facilities. However the location is good.
This hotel looked very impressive from outside. In truth our room and especially bathroom was very ruined especially the bathtub. The mattresses and pillows were old and uncomfortable and it was impossible to sleep. I would not come again in this hotel.
Nice hotel in the centre of the city. Very nice and friendly front desk employee Pablo who remembered my birthday on the morning we left. The exterior of the hotel looks very new and modern but the rooms are in need of modernisation. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was spacious. Breakfast was ok. Location was very good, very in the city center, close to everything you might need. Wi-Fi was very reliable during my stay. Shower pressure was really good. Cons: Mattress was very uncomfortable in my opinion, too soft, I had very bad nights. Bathroom was strange, the toilet was in a position where you feel claustrophobic while using it. The minimum you expect from a hotel is to have a nice night sleep. The whole hotel is quite noisy, the rooms are not very well soundproofing, you wake up early with people talking loudly in the corridor. For the price I was expecting more.
If you like this review give it a 👍 Hotel: Location is good, about 12min walk to city center. Easy to find and parking available (€9,00). Room: A little small, we also had a column in the room which makes the room extra small. Furniture is a little outdated. Beds are big and matras of good quality. Bathroom: Small as wel but everything you needed is available end working well. Need to pay attention to the extraction grille...to much dust and dirt! Breakfast: we did not use the breakfast buffet at €13.50 p.p. Staff: receptionist at check in was friendly. Overall: a little in-between. Not a 4 star hotel, 3 stars would be more appropriate.
