No no no. The smell of humidity is too strong and there is a “closed” window. The hostel is in the center but the district vibes are rare. During the night we could hear other guests talking in the corridor. The bedsheets you will need to put on your own. Anyways, relation quality-price is quite relevant.

Great Staff. No Locks on the doors, a first for me. Some random guy wandered in with a toothbrush at 10am and started talking with me a my friends, he wasn't staying in the room. He came a few more times. I think he wanted to steal our things, not too sure. Had to break up a fight in the corridor outside our room. For some reason two people where punching each other. The entire building is pretty strange. Beds were compfy. Showers were clean but not the nicest I've been in. But good nonetheless. I would for sure not stay there again. If your a solo female traveler don't. I'm a man who went with two other guys and didn't feel the safest. I think anyone can wander in at night, no one checked that we were staying in the place when we came back at 4am.

I loved my stay here! The girl who checked me in was super friendly. You get what you pay for - but everything was clean and spacious. Big lockers available, right in the heart of Bilbao. Basic breakfast but thats what you get for the price. I'd stay here again.

The hostel is easy to find and accessible. It was great that we could arrive after midnight, flexible check in is appreciated. All kitchen facilities mentioned on the website were present. The breakfast was very basic. The rooms barely had any windows so it was quite hot and sweaty in the rooms. The lockers in the rooms and the rooms it self don't have locks so I would advice to bring your own logo for your backpack or locker. The staff is very friendly, speaks well English and was helpful. I would recommend this hostle for a one or two night stay.

I've slept in a lot of cheap accomodations in Spain (and also in Bilbao) during my pilgrimage. This is really the worst experience. Not because of the strange entrance, the general feeling of being in the middle of a warehouse and not something to sleep (that could be reasons for tourists, but I'm used to sleep in cheap und not so good rooms). The cons are more this: - The floors are not clean - Walls, lockers and so on are the opposite of clean (found for example old traces of bed bugs) - The kitchen has no spoon, no knife (just one for all) and mainly no forks - climate: In the reception they make it cold; in the parts after the first fire door: They don't turn on air conditioning (it's really hot and humid) - Everywhere are really old things from former guests (old shampoos, the shoe fridge is full of old stuff) - the kitchen, the living room all is not clean - many other things Without mention more details: Just the good location and price doesn't justify this. There are hostels that are a lot better (quite easy to be true), that costs just 5 or 10 bugs more. If you can: Don't stay here
