5 / 5 The only negative was that it is located up the hill with a ten- fifteen minutes climb from the center. Everything else was ok. I recommend it unless you cannot bear the climb.
4 / 5 Good place for a short stay, small rooms and you can hear a bit of noise… even the neighbor next door snoring, the doors opening and closing from other guests, etc… it's not a bad place but I wouldn't give it a 10.
To get to the center I had to go up and down a lot of stairs (I think there's an elevator somewhere but I couldn't find it). If you have limited mobility, I wouldn't recommend this location.
As for the space, as I said, it's small; it looks bigger in photos, but it's not bad.
Cleanliness is a 6.5 out of 10. It's not very dirty, but I think it lacks a bit of care and attention. They need to pay more attention to detail. It smells nice when you walk in because of the air freshener, but I think it needs a more thorough cleaning.
The doors are sometimes a little tricky because the opening mechanism is a bit unreliable. It's not a big problem, but if you arrive needing to pee, it's a nightmare until you manage to open it, haha.
It's not a bad place, but I think they could improve a lot. For example, the bedroom door shouldn't move and rattle when other people open theirs, letting in a draft.
I think it could be a 10/10 place with a little more attention to detail. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10.
4 / 5 The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was functional. It had a clothes rack (very useful) and a refrigerator. I missed having a table, and the interior latch on the door didn't close properly in our case. Room service was available. Regarding the location, you can access the Old Town via stairs that connect to Plaza de Unamuno (we don't recommend them at night). We got around by bus; several lines take you to the center (27, 38, 48), which is convenient and fast (don't rely on the schedules if it's very early, as they often run early).
We felt very comfortable and had a great stay. Thank you!
4 / 5 A great place to stay if you're in Bilbao for a couple of days! It's well located in terms of public transport, plus there's a lovely park nearby where you can relax and enjoy the views. I recommend taking the Begoña elevator to catch the metro and save yourself the stairs to the station :)
5 / 5 Good
