Bilbao ROOMS Miribilla

We entered and smelled burning. After searching, we found an insecticide that they had recently used. We endured the smell for a while and said there was no problem, but it turned out later that there were bedbugs. We were in room number 2, which is supposed to be locked and not shown to guests for a while until it is confirmed that there are no bedbugs, but they see us as guests as money, so they will don’t fck care about your health.

We came to this place and the room smelled like smoke. It was all denial from the owners. Then in the morning: BED BUGS in room 2 and 3. Nightmares. Avoid at all costs. The sad thing is the owners just make excuses and try to cover their butts by lying on booking.com and on google in their replies to the reviews. Really not cool. I wish I could sue these people.

They have bedbugs and not just in one room, pictures from my stay last night below. This should be illegal to not do pest control maintenance regularly.

The room was impossible to make dark as there was no curtain and the window faced onto a courtyard with lights on all night. Despite having 2 pillows they were in a single long pillow case, this prevented using them folded in half or any alternative to counteract how thin they were. There was also an issue with the washing machine power not working within the posted times, though we reported this and they were going to look into it so hopefully will be fixed for future guests. The service was good with very smooth access via a code to the building and room. It is a shame the lack of curtain made it impossible to sleep well as otherwise this would have been a convenient and reasonably good value stay.

I loved my stay at Miribilla Rooms. The area is just perfect. Quiet, silent and close to the bursting city. The rooms are clean, new and everything works! The stuff are responsive and attended my requests immediately. I will be back again and again.
