A perfect place for my long term digital nomad trip in Iberia. It offered excellent value for money while providing a safe, quiet, clean and comfortable room in the heart of the old town. The check in lady was amazing. You’ll want to like your fellow traveler as true to its compact value … the room is tiny for space. But more than adequate for the value. Some kind of surface would have made some office work a little easier - given how great the wifi was.
Our stay at Casual Mardones in Bilbao was very enjoyable. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, which made it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was clean and comfortable, a bit small, but still cozy. Bilbao itself is a real gem, lively, charming and not overly touristy, with streets, the river and the Guggenheim Museum all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and attentive, the hotel was very clean.
Unfortunatly we had a really noy comfortable experience - The room was extremly small - The bathroom had nothing to hand the towels and had not rediator / heating ( so it was alsways very very cold) The bathroom door was not closing or opening correctly - you always had to push or pull with big power. The wall are not sound proof, you can hear everything from other room. The bedroom itself was very cold, just 1 radiator being slightly mild. The price is good but it is not wearth it - look other propertis if you do not want to have a bad cold stay in the winter. Also - all the bedrooms have not air conditioning. BAD EXPERIENCE.
Great location, you think it would be noisy because its beside bars but windows block out the noise. Rooms are spotless clean and facilities are great. Great for a casual stay
Very bad experience - Room was very cold -bathroom has not radiator or heating. Room is extremly small, I believe about 9 Metres square. Walls are not sound proof - you can hear everything from other rooms. There is not air conditioniting. Location is excellent. Entering the premises is really annoying with having to enter all the 4 digit number three different times. Highly not reccommanded.
