Location is amazing! Around the corner from Old Town, close to all transit options, and very walkable to nearly all parts of Bilbao. Stayed with a group, in general, very clean facilities. Only two things I would improve. 1- The showers are very small and have minor issues, i.e. faulty drains and locks. 2- The rooms get quite warm and our AC system didn’t work. Aside from these minor things, it’s a great stay if/when it’s more budget friendly than a hotel or airbnb.
Hey, I stayed a few nights at this hotel with some friends and was really satisfied with my experience there. The hotel is really well placed in the city and the rooms are clean and efficient (lockers, security card for rooms,etc..). Special thanks for the manager/gatekeeper named Abdul !! He helped us for the check-in, and was really accommodating when a friend wanted to come at the last minute, or when small problem arised (like lockers having difficulties), he was reactive. Plus, he can speak multiple languages like French English Spanish and more so it was really easy to communicate.
The hostel is okay but nothing amazing, they provide a well kitchen equipped kitchen which is nice, but towels have to be bought from a disgusting vending machine if you don’t have your own. Overall the rooms were clean but the bathroom lock was broken and the shower was very tiny. There is a small common area with an uncomfortable couch but something is something. The location is very good tho
Probably one of the worst hostel ever. There is no staff on site, so if you face any issue you must call a number…it gives you an idea of the level of customer service. I did face several issues: 1/ I booked a bed in a 4 bed shared dorm, I ended up in a 8 bed dorm (still paid for a 4 bed dorm) on my first night and then was requested to change room the following morning. What the hell?!! Since you still have to check out from previous dorm on time and you don’t know what time the other guest will check out from the other room you end up homeless! Have to wait and don’t get any support on site since there is no one…and when you ask a cleaning staff or repair guy…they have no clue! On day one I was given a bed number for my following night…turns out this bed was occupied (i was given the wrong bed) so I had to call them again to get another bed. In addition, the maintenance of this hostel is very poor… as small and lot of mould, most of the locks broken… Very bad experience, will never return to that place.
I stayed for a night before flying from Bilbao airport. The description was clear about the lack of personnel and the online check in. This allowed me to go later in the evening without stressing about reaching the place within a specific timeframe. It also allowed me to check out easily on my way to the airport. The facilities were clean and well organised. The rooms big enough and well equiped with ensuite toilets. The showers were just by the room door. Very good experience!
