Comfortable, convenient, caring. We hit the jackpot when we found this gem of a hotel. Located at the heart of the old town, the hotel is very comfortable with great showers and beds. The staff are super helpful and the rate was reasonable. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a perfect place to stay in Bilbao. The only feedback is that the TV was a bit too complex to operate (but we were too busy with the pintxo bar to miss it), and we would recommend getting a more effective shampoo. Aside from that, absolutely perfect.
excellent location in the old town (Siete Calles). Staff is absolutely amazing, wonderful & overall truly helpful. The breakfast was fabulous. Don't go anywhere else for breakfast. I had a family room on the top floor. Nice room, no view, which I knew, so no surprise. Just be mindful that this area is a medieval town, narrow streets, so little daylight. It's also an area with lots of bars & restaurants, I imagine it'll be busy and noisy in the evenings. Nonetheless, excellent location and wonderful staff!!!
Excellent all around. Great staff and management that accommodated all our wishes over our week-long stay. Very clean room (we got an upgrade), excellent furnishings and an especially nice bed. Very large bathroom that was extremely well equipped and had great towels. Breakfast was superb: a combination of buffet and hot to order, with excellent coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Excellent location also just a few steps from the tram stop that got us to most places we needed to go. Just Wow.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room smelled amazing, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. You can tell the staff loves their job and to talk with the guests, it is really a great hotel, they deserve more than 2 stars!!! We will definitely be back soon!
This is quite an oasis, on the grungy edge of the old town. Location is handy. The hotel is new and very thoughtfully put together. The bathroom experience is among the best I've had - great shower. Buildings in European old towns mostly have small windows so the room had very little daylight, but the lighting was nicely done. Same with air - city life unfortunately means the only option for peace is to close the window, yet somehow it wasn't too stuffy. Sound-proofing was excellent - the building felt really solid and quiet. The bed was firm and very comfortable. Staff were all great. Breakfast buffet was high quality. So, if you have to stay in a sealed box in the city for a few days, this is the sealed box you want.
