Very nice experience staying here for 2 days - we booked a studio and were happy with the equipment, the layout of the room, its size, the comfortable bed, great shower and most of all the location. When we visit Bilbao, we will be back.
This is an excellent apartment by the day. Very clean and well furnished with a refrigerator, cloth washer, inductive cooktop, microwave oven, dishes, pots and pans, hot water/coffee maker, plenty of white towels, and wooden floor. The Studio is nice if one does not mind the extra soft and thin mattress on the sofa bed. A room with two twin-size beds is best. Outside streets are clean, people are friendly, and there are restaurants and markets nearby where one can have meals and shop. Prices are extremely affordable, cheaper than N. America at least by 30%.
We stayed one night as a group of five, although they did accommodate all of us, the online registration and check-in process was quite annoying and should be more seamless, there were errors which delayed us getting the access codes, and then the code for our room didn't even work, so we had to contact support, luckily they didn't take long to respond, they had to give us another code which supposedly should have worked for the main building entrance and the room but we ended up having to use two different codes (one for each) Then the rooms were spacious but the walls and windows let a lot of noise through, there was construction work going on in the early morning next day. Then the street is not the safest to say the least, at night a lot of homeless people and adult workers around. Would not recommend staying there.
Would not recommend. The room was small and had no bed, only an uncomfortable sofa bed. This was not communicated during the booking process. The pre-paid parking was over a 20 mins walk instead of the 15 mins as was conveyed. The staff was unhelpful and showed no flexibility. Check-out was at 11.00 and a 1 hour 15 mins extension cost an extra 25 euros. The area did not feel safe in the night.
The apartment is very small, the bed is right next to the kitchen, but you can imagine that with only 20 square meters... But honestly, the space is very well utilized. The bed is very comfortable and overall it's very nice. A welcome touch was the water, chips, and tourist information. I'll be back.
