My room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is modern with a large bar offering a good selection of delicious meals and drinks at very reasonable prices. The location is perfect and the staff efficient and friendly. A special mention to Pedro in the bar who looked after us so well and with a great sense of humour. The breakfast is incredible with absolutely everything you could want, hot or cold. Fabulous hotel.
This hotel offers big and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is very good. I like the location - in the middle of the city. You can explore the city of Bilbao by foot. Accessibility is guaranteed. The parking is a little difficult to find.
We have been going to Bilbao every January for my birthday over the past 4 years and one of the reasons is then great service and comfort we have at Mercure Jardines. From the reception staff and especially bar staff (Pedro, Susana), they are all very professional and friendly. The room are also impecable. This last time was my 50th and we even had an upgrade for which we are so grateful. The only thing we missed this year and it was a great addition to the overall service was the spa.
Everything was great but the car park needs to be better managed. 3 small Spanish cars tailgated me into the car park and selfishly took the largest spaces without asking for space to be allocated, whereas I had a large car and was allocated a small space. I took photos and showed the staff and they were super helpful and allocated me a better space which I was very grateful for.
Great hotel. Everyone was so warm and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend this hotel
