Nice and clean rooms with private and decent bathroom. Quite simple, it's still a hostel, but clean and with all services. The breakfast is in a nearby bar. Although the hostel is in a central zone, near the main station and the underground, the area is not so safety.
This hotel is actually quite good, but the main problem is that right across the street there’s a black market where drugs and stolen goods are being sold. I’m not racist — I’m Mauritian myself and a migrant in France — but most of the people in that street are of North African origin, and their behavior is really unacceptable. One day, while I was with my family, a man tried to sell underwear to my wife. She gave him a bad look, and he immediately insulted her in Moroccan. What frustrates me is that some people come to Europe without making any effort to integrate and without showing any respect for the country that hosts them. Yet if we went to their country, we would be forced to wear the burqa. At this point, I believe the authorities in Bilbao should take the necessary measures to send them back to their country.
Great place to stay, especially for a remote worker. Very handy location and helpful staff. Lots of cheap and cheerful food options around. Incredibly good value for money.
During my 3 day visit to the wonderful city of Bilbao, I stayed at this facility. I don't usually stay in such types of accommodation, but I thought I'd give it a try, as the price seemed reasonable. The pictures of the room looked okay, however, when I arrived I was pretty disappointed with the room and its facilities. The rooms are very basic, with no AC, not even a television 😑 The bathroom isn't big enough for an adult human to move around in. The shower cubicle is barely usable, as it's some kind of mini bath 🛁 tube with a shower in it. The walls in my room had stains overall the room is very dated and felt more like a prison cell, rather than an accommodation. I think the price I was charged €230 was way too much for this type of room, for 50 euros more I could have booked a room at a nice hotel 🏨. My error, trying cheaper accommodation. Lesson learnt. Overall, I didn't enjoy my stay and I wouldn't recommend this type of accommodation, as it's very basic and feels like being in a prison. The area where the accommodation is is a bit sketchy too, there were lots of young men hanging around outside, and they looked like refugees. This review is my personal experience, other people might have enjoyed their stay here.
My dumbass made a reservation for a week later and when I showed up. They took cared of everything. Super friendly and professional. The room was perfect and more. I would definitely be staying here again
