Dear Readers, my stay in Sercotel Ayala was very good. Thanks to Andres, who was super-friendly and made the atmosphere at every breakfast positive, the start in the day wa already nice. The room was super clean and modern. As a hint, you may ask people who stay several days, if they even request every day cleaning and towel-exchange - for me, this would have been ok to use the same towels all of the 4 days. Reception staff has been really friendly and competent.
We liked the room and the en-suite. The central location made it easy for shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was good and varied. The staff were friendly and efficient too. We found it to be extremely noisy though. The windows did not block out the street noise even though we were on the 6th floor. I think this could be improved.
Best possible service! Our room was new, very clean and quiet. The hotel is situated in the city center, which is very convenient. We travelled together with our dog and a very comfy dog bed, snacks and bowls were provided. Thank you so much - we had a wonderful stay!
Great hotel in a very good location. If you’re there by car or have a rental car, you can park in a very close garage called “Instituto”. 22.50€ per day, but you get a daily 10% discount from the hotel. Breakfast could’ve been a bit more selection, but all in all it was good. Also a notification: For breakfast you have to choose one of four slots, beginning with 7:00 a.m. and last one possible is 9:15 a.m. - very good system because the breakfast room is not that big. Personal is very kind and helpful. We can recommend the hotel and if we come back to Bilbao, we’ll definitely choose Sercotel Ayala again. 😊
Perfect location when visiting Bilbao, close to the old town and all the museums. Absolutely spotless and had a great breakfast selection in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.
