5 / 5 Lovely apartment, tastefully decorated. Good quality bed linen and towels. Fully equipped kitchen. Location a little out of town but excellent bus service (77) close by and only (€1.50)
Hotel just around the corner where we enjoyed a very nice meal.
Staff very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
5 / 5 We had a wonderful stay at Apartamentos Atxuri. The apartment itself was excellent – spacious, well-equipped with everything you could need (dishwasher, washing machine, etc.), and in a fantastic location. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we also really appreciated that it was pet friendly.
We also enjoyed the bar food at the sister hotel next door, where Asier, the barman, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. A special mention must go to Esther, the Director, whose warmth and hospitality made our stay truly memorable.
Overall, Apartamentos Atxuri is the perfect base for a stay in Bilbao, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. We look forward to returning!
2 / 5 Good location, center and shops are near. Slow service. a lot of confusion when I first arrived. I was surprised because there was an unusual reception. Could be more clean in some places in room/ appartament. Good for one night. The price (150eur/night) does not match the quality. Would say so: not got what expected, in lower price would be understandable.
No air conditioning, but there is a washing machine - how to dry when the humidity is high. It's strange that you save on shampoo for such a price. Sometimes simple "gifts" (shampoo, tea, coffee, more clean furnitures...) can make you clients happy. Think about it
1 / 5 Awful old no AC, far away from the city. The staff is friendly, but the rest does not make any sense. We had a sleepless night. You cannot open the window because it's looking at the street with noisy cars and bright light. No curtains, no fans, even no toaster.
4 / 5 Really nice apartment, very clean, with plenty of space and a nice view over the river.
It’s really recommended if you need something more than the usually cramped hotel room, if you want to cook for yourself and all that. It’s not in the city centre but it’s not far from it, actually in walking distance even if on top of a hill.
You can park at the nearby Gran Hotel Bilbao for 16 €/day which is nice.
Downsides: fridge wasn’t working. There was some noise from some young kids in the apartments across the hall but the reception handled it well.
