I always have a great experience at Hotel The Artist Bilbao. The breakfast is truly one of the highlights: enjoying it with the view of the Guggenheim Museum is something special, and the selection is fantastic. What really makes the difference, though, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly attentive and helpful, and they always make me feel completely at home. Jon, Cora, and Marta at breakfast take such good care of guests, and Berta and the entire reception team are equally kind and welcoming. I come here every week, and it genuinely feels like my home in Bilbao. Highly recommended.
Opposite to the Guggenheim museum. Excellent location. Secure valet parking for the car which was a bonus. Staff very friendly and sensitive to my mobility issues. Restaurant excellent. Roof top bar a real bonus overlooking the Guggenheim. Everything you could want in a city hotel. Thankyou.
Staff are great they made my son incredibly welcome and we’re happy to share tips to enjoy the city. The hotel itself is really nice. The double rooms were what we needed for a couple with a young child. The rooftop breakfast is great as the choice is quite wide and the atmosphere is something you can’t replicate so in my opinion was worth the €35 per head charge. Would stay again, its proximity to the Guggenheim makes it a very easy way to spend some time around the area.
PRO'S: The Artist Grand Hotel gets my highest reviews for great service, breakfast, hotel design and location across from The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. One example of outstanding service. The day before leaving for the airport at 5AM, the front desk arranged for a taxi and suggested they could make a picnic breakfast to go since we would be too early for hotel breakfast. Delicious food! CON'S: Absolutely NONE! SUMMARY: The Artist Grand Hotel is our highest recommendation for staying in Bilbao.
Tremendous location for the Guggenheim and the bus to the airport! Very friendly staff, lovely comfy room. Fabulous breakfast. Everything great!
