The inn was super clean. When we arrived, we went to the local restaurant, and since it was raining heavily and we were pilgrims, they gave us a ride to the hostel (very grateful). The shared lounge downstairs, with its mini-fridge, microwave, and toaster, is also great.
We had a very comfortable stay at Posada H. El Alba. We loved the room, and a particularly nice touch was the balcony, perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the morning. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were simply excellent. Everything was more than satisfactory. They also have parking for guests, which is a huge plus. Without a doubt, a highly recommended experience!
The owners were very attentive, but we had booked a room with a balcony (otherwise we would have chosen the €59 room without one, which was also an option) and they gave us a room without a balcony. The pillow and mattress weren't very comfortable, especially the pillow... you sink right into it. The bathroom was fine, but the shower was tiny, the space was very tight, my partner could barely fit. At least they had the heating on. We had the bad luck of it being very windy yesterday, and we could hear everything quite a bit. I recommend it as a stopover hotel, but not for rest. It was as if we hadn't slept at all. The famous phrase "I slept but I didn't rest." But it does have a common area with a refrigerator, microwave, and other utensils, which is very useful. There's a 24-hour vending machine with drinks and snacks. And the staff were very friendly. The room was generally fine, the sofa (which was a sofa bed) was comfortable, the TV was good, and the bathroom was fine. The mattress isn't too bad, but the pillows need replacing urgently. The service was very good, but we left with a bad taste in our mouths.
The important things: Very new construction. Comfortable and clean beds. Shower with excellent water pressure and hot water. Very nice common area with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Daily cleaning. Parking. Javier was very attentive.
