Clean rooms suitable for a few nights. Nearby beach is lovely. Restaurant was nice and staff were great, food in Restaurant over the road was better I think. Never saw anyone to rate service. Location is handy for dash to santander next day. I'd stay again.
We wanted to eat in the restaurant and were very displeased with the unfriendly staff. My wife wanted a "primo" that was just included in a menu. Instead of explaining it calmly to us, the waiter had the nerve to carry the menu board from outside to us, just to show us that is says "menu" and "not for share". We did t eat there
This is a very nice and cozy hotel and staff are very friendly but unfortunately we had bugs in our bed and had to leave the place immediately. The manager fully refunded us and they apologized for the inconvenience. They told us they will take hygiene actions immediately. Bed bugs are unfortunately a big issue in many hotels along the Santiago de Compostela route!
It's a good albergue, very large. You can have dinner and breakfast here too. Apparently they can make vegetarian meals too if the receptionist does not forget to tell the cook that you asked and paid for a vegetarian meal. Beach is very close by. Other that that there is not much to do around here.
Woke up locked into the albergue and there was no way out. If there had been a fire everyone would have perished. Hospitalier was drunk the night before so maybe that explains alot. Had to sit on the stairway and pry the door open by pressing with my legs on the doorframe. Should have slept on the ground instead of this albergue. Doesnt deserve a single star.
