Old manor house, beautiful sea side views, clean rooms, generous breakfast
The room on the second floor was very small, smelled of damp, and had a very uncomfortable bed. The bathroom was low, with no window to the outside and no ventilation. There was a skylight, but it was blocked. The bathtub was too old, with a cracked bottom. No Wi-Fi.
A charming house where our host, Quique, made us feel right at home. Buelna is peaceful, and the secluded beaches are beautiful and far from the hustle and bustle of other places in the summer. Everything is very clean and the views are beautiful. Breakfast included the best coffee and bread of our trip.
We stayed a few weeks ago and really liked it. The room had a very pleasant and charming terrace (the only downside was that you have to climb three flights of stairs), sea views, and if you have a clear night, you can see tons of stars. Highly recommended. The town is small but has a restaurant and hostel where you can eat well. Very close to La Franca beach. The house, in general, was very clean and pretty.
We stayed there for a week and were very happy. The room was great with a sea view. The owners were very friendly. The only thing to mention is that the Wi-Fi doesn't reach the rooms, so if you want to watch a movie on your laptop or tablet at night, it's best to download it beforehand or connect in the dining room. Highly recommended for its value for money; we'll definitely be back soon.
