Lovely owner! Nice hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. We came very late and were still warmly welcomed.

Very small room for an adult and two children for 140 euros per night. The lady was helpful. But the luxury price for that room is outrageous. The overall product is poor. For 100 euros (which is already good), the next day it was much better, and it's been much better everywhere I've been.

A positive experience! Mariluz was lovely; we felt right at home. The room and bathroom were clean, the breakfasts were simple but sufficient, and the conversations with other guests at the table were very pleasant. Mariluz was attentive and helpful. Overall, a clean, tidy, and comfortable place, and they were wonderful to us. Greetings from Azuqueca!

I made my reservation over the phone with Mari Luz, more than a month in advance of my one-night stay. She took note of my two double rooms, gave me the price and other details, and I asked if I would pay a deposit. She replied that it wasn't necessary, that the reservation was already made and that I would pay it there and then. To my surprise, the afternoon we were due to check in, I called to tell her what time we would arrive, and she told me she didn't have any reservations there in my name. She practically laughed at me in a cocky tone. She even told me that she was fully booked, that if I wanted, I could go and sleep in the middle of the meadow, that was the only thing. I had to go crazy looking for accommodation for that same night; I saw myself sleeping in the car. After a while, I received a call from Mari Luz, telling me that she had located two rooms for me at the HOTEL SAN ROQUE on the outskirts of Santillana del Mar. If I wanted, she could give me her phone number and I could call them. In the end, I was able to stay at this hotel with my wife and two children. The price was very good and the location was excellent. I highly recommend it. It's a hotel I'll definitely return to and recommend to everyone. Although Mari Luz eventually fixed it, no one could take away my disappointment. It's the first time in my life that this has happened to me.

Don't trust the website's price; it's not real. Talk to us about it before booking, as they can overcharge you afterward, claiming it's not their website... which is what happened to us... and to avoid any confusion, you just pay and leave. Upon arrival, they put us in an occupied room (to relieve ourselves), which didn't seem very logical to us. The breakfast was pretty weak: processed pastries and toasted bread... which isn't important, though. There were no juices or even a piece of fruit. Although the owner is very nice, if you ask for something, it doesn't sit well with her, although she'll arrange it for you. Otherwise, it's fine: clean rooms, close to beautiful towns, and a very pleasant person to deal with.
