I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The location is quite good, the apartments are nice but they lack cleanliness… cobwebs on the ceilings… missing kitchen utensils… and things that were supposed to be there are missing… they should replace the pans… and provide slightly larger glasses, the ones they had were flat… Privacy is terrible. The person in charge even entered our apartment twice after we had already settled in… we had a very unpleasant encounter with the manager, I was quite scared, to be honest… Based on my experience, I do not recommend this place because being comfortable in a place and trying to feel at home in terms of privacy and not feeling constantly watched is more important than it being a pretty apartment…
We were there as a family from May 13th to 17th, and we'll definitely be back as soon as possible. The apartment is very well located and perfect for two adults and two children. It's clean and very well-maintained, and has everything you need to spend a few days comfortably. The green area with the barbecue at the back of the property is great for the children to play safely, as it's gated. And what can I say about the owners? Except that we didn't have time to get to know them better, because they're so kind, especially Javier, a true handyman with whom I'd definitely get along... A hug to them.
We spent a week this summer in the largest apartment (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). It's a very quiet place with magnificent views. The apartment was great, very new and clean, with all the amenities. It was a good size for the number of rooms. It's about 10 minutes from Santander by car, less than 5 minutes from Torrelavega, with easy access to the highway. The service was fantastic, as if you were with family, in their own home. You miss that closeness in other places. In short, it was a wonderful family vacation where we enjoyed our stay and our hosts treated us wonderfully.
One of the best places I've ever stayed. Generally, rural accommodations offer much more personalized service than other types of lodging, but in this case, Javier, the owner, is by far the best. The apartment was beautiful, Javier even cooked our New Year's Eve dinner himself, gave us recommendations for places to visit... And on the day we were leaving, since we were going to visit another place and had to pass through Viveda again on our way home, he told us we could leave all our luggage at the apartment and pick it up when we returned. A perfect ten, without a doubt.
It's a very clean place, but for my taste, the bed was uncomfortable, and our 4-year-old son slept on the sofa bed, which was like sleeping on the tile floor. Despite the website stating that there was a hairdryer, there wasn't one. There's construction work going on behind the apartments as they're building new ones. It was cold, but the heating was fine.
