Booked this as a new place to go before catching a ferry. Pleased we did because C.U. is a lovey place to visit. Nice old town. Missed the castle and church as they re-opened at 6.00pm and we were there in the afternoon, but they look a good visit Room only lost a star as the bathroom was a bit dated, but the rest of the room was fine - great view, Tea and coffee. Good service. Location is good for walking the town. We paid for dinner which was very good but if we came again we'd just eat in the bar as that menu looked fine. Good breakfast. Only 25 mins to Bilbao port.
Great hotel you can see Bilbao port from some of the rooms. Nice walk along the seafront in both directions and a nice beach and fishing port to look at. Choice of restaurants and bars in both directions. All staff we met were friendly and showed us where to park.Great breakfast and only 25 minutes to the ferry port of Bilbao about an hour to Santander.
This is by far, the best service I have had this year. So friendly and generous. Spotless room, incredible breakfast buffet. They gave us free parking for the motorbike. Will come back again
The hotel has good facilities, and the rooms are clean. Breakfast was also very good. The staff is helpful and friendly. It's 30 minutes from the center of Bilbao.
This feels like a very typical Spanish hotel experience. Not quite great but nice enough to recommend and return. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff pleasant, the breakfast decent but not great. Very close to the beach and about 10 minutes from the historic center. Perfect Camino stop after a long day of slogging through the countryside.
