5 / 5 Comfortable bed and cosy room. Quiet space in the centre of the city. Great service at reception. Definitely would return!
4 / 5 Great location, central and surrounded by everything you need and want. Very clean and tidy, the rooms are small though, and the shower tiny, but for 1-2 nights it's fine. Lost a star as my room had no window, at least there was a skylight that opened to let in fresh air, and a good ceiling fan. Lovely lady checked us in, she keeps the place full of nice fresh smells, pot plants, and even a touch of incense... Really central to restaurants and shops, not too mention just being right in this beautiful town... do come here, I suspect not many foreigners do, and it's their loss, although it's lovely being in a beautiful town that's not crawling with tourists! ( Irony here???)
5 / 5 The service was excellent. Jade was super responsive to all my requests: getting me a heater for the room, the WiFi password and stamped my pilgrim passport. Easy to find and very convenient for shops.
5 / 5 Very clean note the rooms are quite small but well designed- there is a supermarket opposite that is handy for water and stuff. Very close to Harbour and lots of good places to eat. The owners are lovely and live above the accommodation- highly recommend for the price and location 🙂👍🏻
4 / 5 Super clean unassuming pension rooms on small side. Room kept spotlessly clean, and sheets changed daily. Located in centre of the town, really short walk to all bars restaurants, and harbour. There's no English spoken but you can get by with sign language and or a little Spanish. Castro Urdiales is a really pretty seaside town half an hour from Bilbao, with countless bars, and restaurants they are everywhere you look! All serving pinchos. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is size of the rooms.
