Repollo Relleno de Carne Guisada. Get it. It’s so good. I promise. Braised beef rolled into cabbage leaves and simmered in a delectable sauce, with fried potato’s. After a long day on the trail this was divine. The place was packed with hikers and just one man took care of us all, absolute legend never stopped moving. No English, no nonsense, told us what’s good, and cut us off trying to order more than we would’ve had room for, much appreciated sir!
Didn't stay but ate the menu del dia. First class. Fabada is a must and the small fried fish were outstanding. Excellent service, spotless and very lively.
I came here recommended by locals so I thought that it was wanma be good. Perhaps I did not order the "best dish", I chose "beef cachopo", 18€ just for that dish, comparing with "casa alvarín" in Avilés, where you pay 16€ and the ham is "ibérico", the price is already expensive. Additionally, the steak wasnt beef but calf or poor quality beef, a kind of chewy. Staff was nice and attentive, the place has nothing special but the only opened place in town. I do not recommend.
Wonderful service, atmosphere and food. Did not stay over, so not sure on the rooms.
