Albergue La Magia del Camino

Although I heard good things about this place it was more expensive than most municipality albergue’s and we didn’t get a room we arrived around 7 to it being full unfortunately, so I cannot comment on the place or room. But the lady on the front desk was very rude and lacked any empathy at all.

Great to stay for Camino. 23€ (June 2025) plus breakfast. You can pay by card ! Everything necessary is here. Albergue is modern and clean.

A wonderful, welcoming hostel in a vibrant town! We stayed for a night while walking the Camino and really enjoyed our stay. We were utterly impressed by the excellent, friendly service. Unasked, the manager upgraded our room allocation on arrival (as we were a family group of 3) to give us our own room. The facilities were clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. I highly recommend it as a place to stay!

I wish I would have known when making a reservation about 3 months before our arrival, and confirming it a week before, that we could request what bed we wanted. Because we arrived later in the afternoon we got the 2 worst beds. Every time the light came on in the hall, we saw it. There was a private room we could have requested that. We could have requested bottom bunks. It would have been nice if they asked us if we had a request. Further the room of bunk beds is very cramped. There is no airflow so it’s very stuffy when others close the doors/windows. I wouldn’t stay here again in the summer. It’s too hot. Finally the bathroom leaves much to be desired. It has 2 toilets but one had an open window to the street. There was little room to put your stuff while showering. And it is not well ventilated. The location is at the top of a big hill, about 400 meters from the plaza to get dinner. This place has a kitchen for you to cook food but no communal dinner. Finally, for what we got, it was too expensive!

Really nice facility. Comfy pods, clean, modern showers, good kitchen. Sadly, Unfriendly staff, especially if your Spanish isn’t great.
