Located in Centre of town a few steps off main road, and central plaza. The service was exceptional. We had complications with a need to cancel some onward arrangements and make new ones. Georgiana at the front desk helped in contacting the local travel company and sorting things out. We couldn't have done it without her help. We stayed 2 nights, the first in a standard room, and the second in a spacious room with a balcony overlooking their garden and a beach below. The standard room also had a similar view The a la carte breakfast was served on a terrace overlooking the beach, and was wonderful - with a choice of fresh fruits and other items. The good food combined with surroundings made it one of the most memorable breakfasts ever. Staff were also helpful in booking us into another hotel.

A very warm and friendly service here, and walking distance to the old streets (with tapas bars and restaurants)...which lead down to the picturesque port. Rooms facing the road are noisy with traffic, even with the double glazing... unavoidable I suppose. The breakfasts are wonderful! And a bargain at 9€/head. Your own freshly cooked omelette, big choice of fruit, yoghurt, bread, spreads, cheese, ham...and choice of cake! Served on the terrace with fabulous sea view. The service at the breakfasts is worth mentioning...very friendly/efficient, and helpful with English translations! Irene on reception deserves a special mention for being so helpful and kind. She speaks perfect English, of course! 😃
The location is perfect. The rooms are clean, a good size for two people and nice bathrooms. The absolute highlight was the breakfast and the friendly hosts! Breakfast choices were abundant and delicious and the staff made so many things possible for us (tastings etc.), it was so great! I seriously don't understand why they "officially" only have 1 star. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Getaria.
This hotel is a real gem. They are the most friendly staff in the world. The building is old and full of character. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great It's located close to lots of bars and restaurants and the harbour. Did I say how friendly and welcoming everyone is. Love it
