Saiaz Getaria Hotela

Wonderful small hotel in the charming town of Getaria. Make sure you book a sea view room, well worth it overlooking the beach below & the green hills over the coast road. Mikel & Staff are efficient & super friendly. Pet friendly as well. Highly recommended.

What a very special hotel, the view from the terrace is beautiful. Thank you for the excellent and friendly service from everyone, special thanks to Boubacar who did the booking for me and for the fresh orange juice everyday and Ainara who went the extra mile to find me a last minute physio appointment. Such a cool place!

Lovely boutique hotel. Very pleasant staff, lovely breakfast buffet. Only problem I had, was told first of all was getting a sea view room, only to be then told I wasn’t.

It was our last stop before San Sebastián. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly—they even upgraded our room, which had an ocean view. A great plus is that it’s dog-friendly and very quiet. In terms of location, it’s well-connected, even though the town itself is small.

Wow...what an amazing place! I spend hours and hours researching our accommodations before we book and Saiaz Getaria Hotela far exceeded my expectations. From our gorgeous ocean view room to the most lovely/friendly/helpful staff, our stay was impeccable. We loved it so much that we added a day to our trip so we could stay an extra night. The staff all spoke very good english which was extremely helpful. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room with ocean views. We especially made great use of the terrace area facing the ocean--everything was perfect. We were so happy to stay in this adorable village rather than the big city of San Sebastian. Save yourself research time and book this hotel--you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all of the staff for making us feel welcome and very comfortable.
