I have mixed feelings about the place... The apartment under the roof was very spacious, beautiful views, a very peaceful place, close to Getaria. Big thanks to the cleaning staff! The room was perfectly clean every time. Also, they have a great service of washing clothes. But there are a few negative points that i also have to mention: - The beds are very shaky. We had to put all the mattresses on the ground, because we couldnt sleep otherwise - All (!) the windows of our apartment were to the west. We left the shutters closed every day to minimize the damage, but it was still super hot every evening when we came back (29 degrees in the room!) with no air conditioning. There ARE ventilators in the rooms, but for us personally it was just not enough. It was also impossible to open the windows when the sun has set down, since immediately hundreds of flies would fly in. So, the quality of our sleep was very, very poor. - Broken door in the shower - you take a shower and the floor gets wet. - Looks like no children under 7 years old are allowed, that was really difficult for us to understand from the website. So, we arrive and the woman (I suppose, the owner?) met us with a very unfriendly message of "well, no small children are allowed... because this and that..." We both had a feeling that us with our 4-year old girl are going to be thrown out of the place. In the end she let us stay, but this welcoming left a very unpleasant feeling in both me and my husband. Also, either you make an "adult only" place, or a hotel with children. I find it weird that you start to pick which children you like and which ones you don't... All in all, thank you, but even when our daughter turns 7 I will not feel welcome in this place and will not come back.
This place is modern and clean and beautiful there is lovely communal area. It has big, beautiful, very clean rooms with balconies overlooking the vineyards and gardens. It is so fun to look out over all the vineyards and see the ocean and island.It is just a little more than a kilometer down the hill to the town and a beautiful municipal park on an island connected by a tunnel. All the staff was very helpful and kind. Wish I could stay longer!
Incredible hotel, especially for the price. The rooms have the most amazing views, are spacey and have high quality interior design. The staff was so kind to us and the breakfast is wonderful too with amazing view into nature. There’s animals everywhere, we particularly fell in love with two pregnant cats and one cow who liked music a lot. Although it’s in the middle of nature, it doesn’t take long with foot to reach the city and beach. We loved it, thank you so much.
Most amazing place with spectacular views and wonderful hosts! Our room was spacious and very clean. Beds comfortable and the balcony with amazing views of the txakoli vineyards, green hills and the sea in the distance. Perfect location with beautiful town Getaria nearby. Our hosts, two wonderful girls at the reception, were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much! We really want to come back there soon. 😊
