I had to score under 5 on something. Very little nearby bar a great simple cafe restaurant on the village square 10 mins walk away. This was a real high point of our bike ride from Lisbon to Santander via Bilbao. Beautiful building. Simple but elegant, comfortable without any bling, good breakfast, lovely lounge. Super helpful staff. A surprising contrast with the 5 star hotel we stayed at in Bilbao centre. Obvs not in theory comparable but genuine style and friendliness beats a big budget every time IMO. Thank you :-)
Amazing hotel, looked like something out of a fairytale and wonderful staff. Breakfast was great and there was a bath!! Which was especially nice after walking the Camino.
A quiet medieval hotel on El Camino del Norte. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with well-maintained gardens on the property. The buffet breakfast offers a variety of fruits and pastries.
Treat yourself to a beautiful, super comfortable room with quality fixtures and furnishings in a picturesque valley. Hotel owner was gracious and spoke english. Excellent cafe that served a great dinner just around the corner.
Very old medieval building now serving as a bed and breakfast. Well outfitted and comfortable, albeit also fairly basic. The room was fairly cool and very quiet. Excellent stop on the Camino del Norte.
