The only advantage of this place is its location: very close to the train station. Other than that, it's just bad. The rooms are bad. The place looks bad. The sheets smell bad. The woman at reception was kinda nice though :)
I was with my family. I did my booking at the hotel on spot. They were affordable. The lady on the reception was really good and helpful . It’s just 2 min walking from irun train station .
Cheap (30€/night for one person) but you get what you pay for. Very small room, looking like you time travel to 1936 to visit your grand-aunt Fernanda. It is very old, matresses too. There was no central heating, just an electric radiator to plug in and it was a very cold night. I had to use the 2 extra blankets in the wardrobe too. The parking for 5€ was OK but it is a personal 2 spaces parking, not a profesional hotel parking. The rooms are not noise proof, my italian neighbours were very noisy talking/shouting, it was hard to sleep. The bathroom was not very clean, the mirror had a broken corner and apparent electrical wiring. There was a spider in the shower. The best was the teenager in reception, friendly and helpful. Would I recommend the place? No.
Pension Bowling is spotlessly clean. The sole negative is that it's right beside the tram line to Hendaye. Odin Does Drinks
Absolutely horrible!!! Do not stay here! Had a bad bedbug infection in my first room. Lady at the counter was antagonistic and rude about my complaint. Room and hotel is overall run down and far from being worth the price. My second room had cockroaches and no toilet seat.
